A Week of Global Collaboration at Peareswood for BETT UK 2026
This term, Peareswood was proud to welcome a wide range of international visitors as part of Bett UK 2026 week, creating a truly inspiring start to a week centred on innovation, learning and collaboration.
We were delighted to host educators from the United States, alongside the Founder & CEO of Magma Maths. Our Director of Education and Peareswood teaching team shared the positive impact the platform is having on both pupils and staff- from improved pupil outcomes and increased learner agency to greater efficiency for teachers. Our pupils spoke confidently about how Magma supports independent, personalised learning and strengthens their understanding of mathematics.
Throughout the week, we also welcomed education professionals from Norway, Hong Kong, Germany, Poland and Holland. Each visit provided valuable opportunities to share our pedagogical approach, rooted in Universal Design for Learning and enhanced through our use of iPad. As an Apple Distinguished School, Peareswood was pleased to showcase how inclusive practice and Apple technology work together to improve accessibility, engagement and independence for all learners.
Our Norwegian visitors were particularly struck by the way our children engaged in thoughtful discussion about their learning. Colleagues from Hong Kong shared insights from their own schools, creating meaningful professional dialogue across international contexts. Visitors from Germany explored the impact of iPad and Magma Maths on children’s progress, while our Polish and Dutch guests were keen to take practical ideas back to their own settings.
Once again, our pupils were exceptional ambassadors for Peareswood. They greeted visitors with confidence and warmth, explaining their purposeful use of digital tools and sharing the enjoyment they gain from school. We are immensely proud of the way they represent our school community.
The week also provided an exciting opportunity for some of our pupils to attend Bett itself, where they experienced the wider world of education technology first-hand.
It was a fitting way to mark Bett UK 2026- a week filled with rich professional conversations, shared learning and a celebration of the positive impact our approach continues to have on children, staff and the wider community.
