Our School Recognised by Secretary of State for Education
We are incredibly proud to see Peareswood Primary School recognised by the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, for the exceptional outcomes achieved by disadvantaged pupils at the end of the 2024/2025 academic year.
In a letter addressed to Headteacher Mrs Ferla, the Secretary of State praises our school’s performance, placing Peareswood among the very best nationally and highlighting the dedication of staff and the hard work of pupils. The letter also recognises our school’s role in sharing effective practice and supporting wider system improvement.
Mrs Ferla is incredible proud of the Peareswood community: “We are incredibly proud to have received a letter from the Secretary of State recognising the outcomes achieved by our children at the end of the 2024/25 academic year. It reflects the daily commitment and high expectations of our school team, who ensure every child is supported, challenged and believed in. Our children’s achievements are the result of consistent practice, strong relationships and a shared determination to do the very best for our children.”
